Holiday Cocktails ft. How to Drink | Basics with Babish

 

This week on Basics I m going to show you how to make some of my favorite drinks for the holiday season like hot buttered rum and eggnog Recipes Eggnog8 eggs yolks and whites separated 1 2 cup sugar plus 2 Tbsp divided 2 cups steamed milkWhole cloves 2 2 cups heavy creamBourbon and white rum to taste Gin Punch1 orange peeled1 lemon peeled1 3 cup sugar 1 cup sugar1 cup water1 bunch fresh sage torched 2 cups Lapsang tea3 cups gin1 2 cup Triple Sec4 6 lemons juicedLemons oranges and blood oranges for garnishHot Buttered Rum1 cup brown sugar1 Tbsp cinnamon2 3 tsp freshly grated nutmeg1 stick melted butterDark rumBoiling waterMusic Chill Masters Best I Can by Blue WednesdayMy first cookbook Eat What You Watch is available now in stores and online Theme song Stay Tuned by Wuh Oh
