Hermit Thrush!

If I had known he was fine I would not have picked him up I just needed to check and see if he was injured because then I would have taken him to our local bird rehabber This is a hermit thrush a common forest dweller here on the Georgia coast They like to skulk around under bushes and on the forest floor looking for insects and other arthropods to eat If you find a bird that has hit a window sometimes they are just stunned This little guy warmed up on my hand he was shivering for a bit then flew away when I got done recording Music Rocket Power by Kevin MacLeodCreative Commons www incompetech com
