how i format my sticker sheets for production ☆

 

wahoo i hope y all enjoy this video i m very proud of it and i hope it helps y all out in some way or another note if you do indeed cut out your stickers yourself using a silhouette or cricut program this is a great method for laying out the sticker sheets before bringing it in to that software illustrator is ur friend i used to print and cut all my stickers for my sticker shop at home using 3 silhouette portrait machines but my shop started growing in a way that i could no longer keep up with by making everything by hand at home so i started outsourcing my sticker production this time last year through a lot of trial and error this is the process i ve landed on for formatting my sticker sheets to send off to said printing companies so they turn out spiffy and lovely here are the timestamps for all the instruction panels in case you want a quick breakdown of each step of the process 8 05 how to add a white fill layer behind your stickers 9 57 how to copy designs from photoshop to illustrator 12 35 how to prepare your file for cutlines i recently learned that you can hit command shift v to place the second layer exactly over the first i told you i am very much an illustrator novice 15 39 how to make cutlines in illustrator 22 05 how to add embellishments sticker companies i use socials insta chey barton twitter pinterest spotify cheyennebarton tools adobe photoshop illustrator to arrange and edit stickers procreate on the ipad for drawing my sticker designs camera canon g7x mark ii editing adobe premiere pro cc i use procreate on my iPad to create the hand drawn titles all music from epidemicsound comilysm
